⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Waifaifo Resort Hoi An! We had an amazing stay at Waifaifo Resort Hoi An! The staff were all incredibly friendly, spoke excellent English, and some even knew Mandarin, which made communication so easy for my family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the pool. The beds are firm yet very comfortable — perfect for elderly guests. My family all slept so well every night. Everywhere in the hotel is spotless — from the lobby to the pool area, everything is well maintained and clean. The 24-hour gym really impressed me! It’s not like the typical hotel gyms with just a few dumbbells and treadmills — this one is fully equipped with a wide variety of machines, yoga mats, cardio equipment, and even a Smith machine. Everything looks new and the workout space is large and airy. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay — honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. There are so many options, and the dishes change almost every day while still keeping some favorites. They serve local Vietnamese food, Korean dishes, and Western options, plus desserts and freshly baked bread. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like gluten-free desserts and almond milk. Even the coffee has two choices — Vietnamese style or Western-style coffee machines. A special mention to the catering manager, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She greeted every table with a warm smile and made us feel truly welcome. One morning she even brought ginger tea for my mom when she heard she had a sore throat — such a kind and thoughtful gesture! The location is perfect — close enough to Hoi An Old Town for easy access, but quiet and peaceful at night. Thank you to all the staff for making our family trip so memorable. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again next time we visit Hoi An! ❤️

My partner and I stayed in a suite at Wafaifo and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable - perfect for relaxing after exploring Hoi An Old Town (which is incredibly close btw). What really made the stay special was having access to the wellness facilities. Being able to use the oxygen therapy, sauna, and cold plunge was amazing and we also had an otherworldly massage. We had the full spa experience right at the hotel! I felt completely refreshed and recharged, and I had the best sleep that night. The staff were friendly, everything was spotless, and the whole vibe of the place was peaceful and serene. I’d 100% come back and recommend Wafaifo to anyone looking for a mix of luxury and wellness in Hoi An.
Our stay at Wafaifo was absolutely outstanding! The property is immaculate, the staff unfailingly warm and accommodating, and the rooms, spacious, bright, and beautifully finished. We loved the high ceilings, quality furnishings, and the two work desks that suited our needs perfectly. Breakfast was a delight every morning, with a generous spread of local and Western favourites. You can tell everything here is thoughtfully curated. The location is also a huge plus, right in the heart of town and an easy 10-minute stroll to the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants and shops just steps away. Special shout-out to Van, the F&B Manager, and Duc, the GM, who made us feel genuinely welcomed and right at home. Their care and attention truly elevated our stay.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wafaifo Resort! From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality were exceptional. The resort is beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to Luna, Thao, Hop, Chloe, and Hoi — each of them went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine care and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommend Wafaifo Resort to anyone visiting the area — we can’t wait to come back!
Wafaifo is an excellent hotel but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations as a 5 star resort and the room I booked didn’t live up to the billing. Let me start the review by saying the staff and customer service are great, check in and check out was smooth. They provided a transfer to and from the airport for my family. There are 2 free breakfast restaurants, they are both excellent and the staff is very friendly and attentive. This gives you just enough variety to not get tired of eating on site in the morning time. House keeping comes everyday twice a day and are very good with the cleaning. The location is great as it’s just a 15 minute walk to old town, it sits on one of the main streets of Hoi an and on the corner is another street with plenty of banks, shopping, restaurants, etc. The resort and the room was where I was left a little disappointed, nothing gross or negligent on their part. The room design is just very awkward. I booked a large suite, which was right below their executive suite. The sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable to watch tv on for more than 30 minutes unless you get some extra pillows and put them behind your head, there’s nothing to rest your feet on. There is no dining area (there is a bar, which is pretty high, not suitable for small children) or work station to get any work done. There’s not even a business center or co working space in the entire resort. So you’re left to either using the coffee table which leaves you hunched over trying to view your laptop or sitting at the bar which the chairs are not comfortable to sit at for more than a few minutes. Then there is the bedroom/bathroom situation. Having a small child is the reason why I opted for the bedroom, so we can close the door for naps and sleep time. However the bathroom access is only through the room, so you have to open the door to bedroom instead of going through a separate door. There is no sink in the kitchen (if you can call it that?) No microwave either, so I guess not a kitchen area, just a drink prep area. So if you need to wash your hands, you will also need to go into the room. There is not area for grab to deliver outside items and it seems like security policy won’t allow them to come to the lobby so you will have to walk all the way outside to meet them for your food because even if you opt for them to just leave it at reception they won’t. I know 1st world problems but this is a 5 star resort after all so it shouldn’t really be inconvenient for things like this. The kids area is half baked, not really much going on in there that will keep your kid entertained for more than 10-15 minutes. Lastly, I don’t know how it was decided but they started construction or remodeling of the room right next to ours, during the time it was raining so we really had no choice but to stay in and listen to the workers bang and chatter during the day. I would say overall my experience at Wafaifo was just okay, not the 5 star resort experience I had hoped for.
We spent a week at the Wafaifo and loved it. It is a very family friendly hotel - which is great but because it was just my husband and I we did feel the pool was a little crowded and noisy, the pool is open until 9pm which again is great but it means the the noise continues into the evenings - just something to be aware of if you are after a more peaceful escape. The breakfast was the best quality we had over our few weeks and many hotels in Vietnam. The waffles! The granola! It was so pleasant to sit in the balcony area and have a lovely breaky and watch the world go by. The gym was also the best equipped and managed that we came across, staff actually come into the gym during the day and clean up, restock towels and water. I liked that it was a bit out of the old town, the walk in is a delight through the little streets and the old town can be frantic at certain times so its good to stay just outside of it. We would stay again.
This was my first time visiting a resort in Hoi An from Korea, and everything was absolutely perfect. The swimming pool and room condition were excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the resort exceeded my expectations. I especially want to thank “Anna” for her kindness and professionalism. Thanks to her, I received outstanding service and had a truly wonderful stay.
We spent the last few days of our multi city Vietnam trip at this wonderful hotel. Lovely helpful and friendly staff, a super pool and great food and drink. A laid-back and relaxing hotel - just what was needed at the end of our hectic and amazing Vietnam holiday.
Amazing hotel for our four nights in Hoi An. The staff, Anna and Huan have been so polite and helpful. There is a 5star level of service with evening turn downs, free bottled water. The breakfast is huge, with fresh eggs made to order. The gym was top class, air conditioning, new machines and all the equipment you need. The pool is heated and available until 9pm. We would definitely recommend and there are so many features we didn’t even use, spa, cinema, kids club. It’s only 15min walk from old town and $1 in a taxi if necessary. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
The manager was so helpful when we checked in. Our room was exquisite. The staff are so polite and helpful. We ate dinner and sat outside to watch the fountain show which was amazing. Our steaks were prepared perfectly and so so tender. This rivals our American hotels and I highly recommend it.
Hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk to the old town. Hotel is overall clean, unfortunately my bedsheet had a slight mushy stale smell probably due to it not being fully dried. Service of the hotel is top notch with very polite and helpful …
Excellent stay at the Wafaifo Resort! Rooms are very nice and the staff members are kind and helpful!! Fantastic pool, great cocktails and food, the breakfast is amazing! The location is also ideal for visiting Hoi An and you get a free shuttle to visit the market and the city at night! And you can borrow a bike for free (kids seats are available) ! Awesome moment !!!
