Thanh Binh Riverside Hotel

This hotel is really nice. The rooms are big, the bathroom is so sweet with this window and there was soap, shampoo and shower gel available. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was lovely, lots of choices of foods and drinks. The stuff is really friendly. There was a big pool and a gym on site. I can warmly recommend. :)
Location of the hotel is great, within the Old Town and yet away from the busy noisy stretch. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Quite a decent spread of breakfast buffet as well. The room however doesn’t feel clean at all, the …
We stay here for two nights. The hotel location is good, within walking distance to old town. The room sounds proof is bad as we constantly hear the Vietnamese man talking.
This was a mixed bag; on the one hand the location is great, on the other.. too close to the night market and as anyone knows, at night, sadly Hoi A becomes Bali 2.0, or Majorca 2.0 for the Europeans. This is not a good thing, wirh music pounding into the wee hours of the morning and, yes the annoying megaphone blasting banh bao on loop. The staff at the desk werent too friendly, though the bell staff and cleaning staff were. This was consistent across the 4 seats stayed, so it wasn’t just “one” staff member. Pool temp was good and clean, gym though was a little uncomfortable, too hot and not AC. My recommendation is to hire the bike they offer, 50k per bike per day and ride out to the beach, away from the tourists and away from the noise. I am Aussie, with viet heritage and have visited Hoi An on multiple occasions, and can say the city has changed so much that I won’t be visiting again. Too loud, too many tourists who are part of the Instagram hype train and expensive. Hotel also had a karaoke / gala event right out the front of our hotel room that boasted music and bad singing until 11pm. No one told me this was happening or give us a heads up when checking in. By international standards, this is totally unacceptable and I really should have asked for my money back. Imagine going on holiday, looking for a relaxing getaway, only to have the hotel staff put on a gala night outdoors and blast bad karaoke through the speakers until nearly midnight. Would you be ok with that? I don’t think so. Let’s not even talk about their termite problem in the rooms
We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The staff does everything to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are spacious, with a nice design. Although the rooms could be a bit cleaner, they are very fit for purpose. The bed was actually the best we slept on during our trip through Vietnam. The hotel’s location is exceptional. Just a short walk to any major sights and restaurants. The pool is a great plus to cool off after a hot day sightseeing.
The Thanh Binh riverside hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes’ walk to the heart of Hoi An.||The rooms are a good size and nice and clean.||The pool is very good, sunshine all day without any obstruction from the sunshine.||The breakfast …
Honestly speaking, I was a little disappointed with the hotel. It looks to me like a 3 star hotel instead. The room was spacious, but that was probably the only good thing about it. The other equipments in the room felt like it was used way past their intended usage, especially the bathtub. Some of the bathroom fixtures were almost falling off. The hotel is not entirely air conditioned, which was a little letdown and the lift was always creaking. The breakfast buffet was average, not fantastic but sufficient. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are on a tight budget.
Very pleasant stay in a convenient location! Just out of the old town market area but easy walk just about anywhere! If you don’t want to walk, there are bikes for hire at reception and grab cabs are easy and inexpensive!
Location is good with walking distance to Hoi An oldtown, but the room is old and room amenities appear to be not well maintained
We already booked 1 month in advance for 4 rooms and already partly paid for reservation. However, when we arrived, the hotel said that they did not record our booking and tried to put us (12 people with kids and elder) into only 2 rooms with a strange additional bed that should not be a part of that room. Basically we belived they tried to put us into 2 rooms only so that they could rent other rooms for higher price! Eventually we did not receive any kind of apologies, and the owner (the one who made this mistake) blamed it on her employees and did not take responsibility!
Good location but very basic hotel. Breakfast was OK but sun beds around the pool were very old and worn out. For a couple of dollars more per night we moved into a 5 star hotel. You can do much better elsewhere.
