Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort

We had a wonderful stay at the Silk Sense Resort in Hoi An! The property itself is beautiful with peaceful gardens, a lovely pool area and comfortable, well-kept rooms. The breakfast was great, offering a delicious and varied selection that helped us start each day perfectly. But what really made our experience special was the outstanding service from the staff. A huge thank you to Ly and Hong, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were always friendly, attentive and ready to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to small thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend the Silk Sense Resort to anyone visiting Hoi An. The combination of a relaxing atmosphere, excellent breakfast and exceptional hospitality truly sets it apart.

My wife and I, along with her father and partner, spent 8-days in this lovely hotel during January. The location for us was perfect, approximately 4kms from the centre of Hoi An, therefore very quiet and peaceful. The hotel gardens were beautiful, especially at night when the lights around the pool and trees were switched on. The restaurant served delicious food during the day/evening, the buffet breakfast was varied and catered well for all nationalities. The bar was well stocked, draft Tiger beer (the local brew) made a nice change from bottles/cans offered by the majority of cafes/restaurants in the centre. Prices for drinks were higher than in the centre however this tends to be the case in hotels. The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble for them. One day I was asked by a member of staff if I had slept well, I replied that barking dogs had kept me awake. He explained that it wasn't dogs but in fact barking frogs making the noise! Later that evening whilst walking back from the bar we noticed a man with a head torch and net.....he was catching the frogs so that guests were not disturbed! I was very impressed by this level of customer care. The rooms were cleaned daily and turned down each evening. Complimentary nibbles and drinks were a nice touch. Several free activities were available including lantern making, Pickleball, coconut leaf folding and an art class. A free shuttle bus ran to/from the centre and beach reasonable regularly, we used this successfully and found it always ran on time. The hotel has a gym that I intended to use however the equipment was quite old and tired therefore I chose to swim and run instead. This is my only negative comment about the hotel and an easy fix with a little investment. In summary we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort and would recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy a quieter location.

The facilities may not be the newest or most luxurious, but everything else made this stay truly wonderful. The overall atmosphere was calm and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive, always greeting guests with warm smiles. Their hospitality made a big difference throughout the stay. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety, the food was fresh, and the staff managed the breakfast area very well, creating a relaxed and pleasant morning experience. While the resort itself is not overly fancy, the balance of comfort, service, and atmosphere was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return again.

Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The resort is perfectly situated right by the river, offering a serene atmosphere that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the variety of activities available—from cycling and Pickleball to more unique cultural experiences like pottery and basic Vietnamese lessons. The staff truly made our stay special. A huge thank you to Nga, who was a fantastic Vietnamese teacher, and Ly, who went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and provided excellent local food recommendations. We highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Hoi An!

We had the most amazing stay at Silk Sense Hoi An. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The driver named Hung was extremely kind and friendly. He was our first impression upon arriving at the hotel, and he made us feel very welcome. His kindness made our vacation even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is very cozy and has a simple yet charming beauty. The breakfast was quite good. For the Suite River View room, it is a duplex-style room with stairs, so guests who prefer rooms without stairs may want to consider this in advance. Communication via WhatsApp was immediate and very convenient. If we visit Hoi An again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

Very green and quiet hotel with some incredible staff! They offer some interesting activities and the breakfast is very tasty. The pool is very well maintained. You also have the possibility to go to Hoi An and back via free shuttle every hour.

We had a wonderful stay at Silk Sense which is a beautiful resort with friendly staff, and a sustainable philosophy as well. Our room 409 was spacious and clean, with a balcony view of the river. My partner is gluten free and vegetarian, and initially we had an issue with their menu which showed a dish as being gluten free but it wasn't. After flagging this with management, they rectified it the next day by ensuring there were gf breakfast options throughout our stay, including gf bread and treats. The location is peaceful, 15 minutes away from the chaos of Hoi An old town. Other features: - large pool with pool-side service - daily complimentary purified bottled water - gluten free specific menu - free shuttle bus into Hoi An old town and nearby beach - free bicicyle use and helmet - free activites such as pottery A special mention: Thuy the manager was very helpful and friendly, she provided advice about activites as well as helped with the gluten free menu.

The complimentary airport pickup was a great convenience, and the complimentary shuttle service to Hoi An Old Town and the beach made getting around so easy. Away from the bustle yet close enough! A beautiful resort with exceptional hospitality. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

The Silk Sense is a very peaceful and tranquil resort near the river. It is not too big and has a beautiful pool in its center. There is also a collaboration with a beach club so that it is possible to spend the day at the beach where a second huge pool is available. The breakfast ist great with a huge variety and the complementary shuttle is very convinient since the hotel is not too far from the center of town. The best thing is definitely the lovely and caring staff of the hotel. From the first minute, you feel welcome and they make sure you don't have to worry about anything. Thanks for that, we had the perfect stay!
