Longest swimming pool I have ever seen. Besides, there is an elegant infinity pool. La Plage restaurant has very good food. Breakfast is perfect. Service, at all levels, is both very friendly and professional. One should definitely try massage

The resort is grand and beautifully maintained with a massive pool that’s perfect for both relaxation and family time. The service staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay very pleasant. My room was spacious and well-furnished, with a luxurious feel. However, I must note that the bathroom floor was extremely slippery — I actually slipped and fell, though thankfully managed to grab the glass door handle in time to prevent serious injury. It’s something the hotel should urgently look into for guest safety. Overall, a lovely resort experience with excellent facilities and great hospitality, but do take extra care in the bathroom.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price Major issues: Hair found in food “Vegetarian” dishes contained orange prawns Poor food quality & repetitive breakfast Empty, lifeless beach with nothing to do Loud early-morning pool cleaning ruined sleep Long walks to rooms & unimpressive lobby Staff not welcoming; service arguments witnessed Despite being a Sheraton Grand property, my experience was far below expectations. I found hair in my food, and several dishes presented as vegetarian (rice/satay-style) clearly contained orange prawns, which was confusing and unacceptable for vegetarian guests. Food quality and taste were poor, with very limited vegetarian options and almost no change in breakfast items across days. Although the resort is large, it felt inconvenient rather than luxurious — my room was far from the lobby, requiring long walks, and the lobby itself felt very basic for such an expensive property. The beach was completely empty, with no activities or atmosphere, honestly feeling like a ghost beach. One morning, very loud pool cleaning for empty villas started early and woke me up, which is not what you expect on a holiday. The staff experience was also disappointing; many were not welcoming, and I witnessed two guest-staff arguments during breakfast, caused by service issues. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing for the price and brand. I would not recommend this resort and would not stay here again.
I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Danang from January 1 to January 6, 2026. Below are my observations on the positives and areas for improvement. As with my other reviews, my final rating is influenced heavily by the quality of staff interactions, particularly as a loyal elite member. Positive Highlights The hotel upgraded one of my two bookings to a suite with an ocean view and placed the second room next to it with a partial ocean view, which was very convenient for our family. Hung checked us in at the elite desk and was extremely helpful. He accommodated my request for an additional bed in the suite with a warm and professional attitude. He is one of the reason I gave the hotel 3 stars (otherwise it would be 1). I particularly enjoyed the room design, especially the high ceilings. Even the standard room with a partial ocean view felt quite spacious compared to standard rooms at many other hotels. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of items, including many local dishes, and the overall food quality is very good. The resort itself is beautifully situated along the ocean, with lovely views and a relaxing atmosphere. Areas for Improvement The breakfast area is consistently very crowded and can feel chaotic during peak hours. I would recommend arriving early in the morning for a more pleasant experience. The beach area could benefit from more regular cleaning. Unlike some other beach resorts in Vietnam (such as the Marriott Nha Trang Resort & Spa), debris was often present on the beach, requiring guests to be cautious when walking barefoot. One concern during breakfast was the way guests were seated and greeted. On multiple mornings, it appeared that attention and assistance from the lady in black/dark-blue suite (seems to me she was the breakfast area manager) were disproportionately directed toward Western guests, regardless of loyalty status (I didn't bother to find out her name though I could). As a current ambassador member and life-time platinum member, this was disappointing to observe. This hotel does not seem to care about elite members.
Wonderful hotel with amazing facilities. A big shout out to Ben, he made our pool days more enjoyable, he’s very attentive and friendly. Always a smile on his face. Mai our yoga / Pilates instructor was awesome, we thoroughly enjoyed her classes and it was all part of the hotel activities. We dined at the La Plage and The Grill, both offering quality dishes. Thank you again to all the staff that made our stay comfortable. This has been the best Vietnam holiday.
We’re truly grateful for the complimentary upgrade, especially as we were celebrating both a birthday and an anniversary. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we still made the most of our stay. Breakfast can get a bit hectic when conferences are taking place, but on regular days it was smooth with a good variety to choose from. A special mention goes to Table 88 — the food was amazing, especially at dinner. The Indian dishes were absolutely out of this world, so compliments to the chef! It was a little disappointing that Table 88 was closed for two days in a row, but the meals we did enjoy were fantastic. The Grill also served an excellent steak — highly recommended. The service throughout the hotel was consistently great. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and attentive, and the concierge team was very helpful with everything we needed. The swimming pool definitely deserves a mention too — it’s huge, beautifully designed, and perfect for both adults and kids to enjoy. My only concern was the air-conditioning, as it didn’t feel very powerful compared to other hotels. It needs upgrade. Overall, Sheraton Grand Danang is a luxurious and family-friendly place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.
We stayed one night at the Sheraton Hotel. Overall, the hotel could use some renovation and upgrades to meet true five-star standards — it feels more like a four-star property compared to other five-star hotels. My review is regarding the comparison to the 4-star hotels. The highlight is definitely the large infinity pool, which offers a great experience on sunny days. The breakfast was average and could be improved. I would recommend this hotel for conferences or business stays, but for a relaxing holiday, there may be better options. There is currently construction nearby, which makes the area a bit noisy. The location is fairly convenient and closer to the city centre than other places we stayed in Da Nang. The reception staff could be a bit friendlier, though the service staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was clean but not very spacious.
The room was ready when I arrived close to 2pm. I was greeted and treated pleasantly by all the staff. My daughter and I even had time to attend a mocktail class together. The kids club is a little dated with no dedicated line up of …
I had an excellent experience with Sheraton Grand Da Nang and their outstanding guest service. I accidentally forgot my gold bracelet at the hotel and realized it only after reaching the airport. I contacted the guest service center, and Mr. Khanh and Mr. Bao assisted me immediately with great patience and care. He stayed on the call throughout, ensured I was calm, arranged a Grab promptly, and coordinated everything smoothly with the delivery person. Thanks to his support and a slight flight delay I was able to receive my bracelet safely at the airport. I am truly grateful for his kindness, honesty, and dedication. Big thanks to the entire Sheraton team for such trustworthy and exceptional service. Highly appreciated and highly recommended. 💙✨
Not a bad resort at all but wouldn’t be the best that the Marriott brands have to offer. The best thing about this hotel is the service from the staff and they genuinely do try to help when they can. Pool was very nice too, but that’s about it. I was here on a low peak season and there weren’t any upgrades offered to a suite (platinum Bonvoy member) due to them being all “booked out”, but that’s fine. Room was comfortable but dated. Breakfast is nothing to shout about and gym is sadly very small and slightly depressing. I don’t like that they charge for shuttle bus to Hoi An especially when this is a fancy hotel. Room service was very sad where my butter chicken came with normal rice when on the menu, it said basmati rice.
We stayed here during the Chinese New Year holidays and have absolutely no regrets about choosing this resort. The swimming pool is huge, beautifully maintained and very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered an impressive variety of options, so filling that we didn’t even need lunch😂. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful resort experience and highly recommended!
