Social and great place to stay, close to the beach and nice staff. Only downside is that rooms and lockers are quite small, and the bed is fragile so one can feel everytime your bunkmate moves. Good facilities as well. Good value for money

This hostel has comfy beds, clean facilities, and a really social atmosphere, which makes it a great choice for solo travelers. It's a perfect spot to relax and also a fantastic place to meet new friends.
Honestly the best hostel we've stayed in in Vietnam! Room was very clean, staff were lovely with great English. Most social hostel we’ve been at, so easy to make friends would be amazing if you’re solo travelling! The rooms are above the bar but the noise wasn't bad at all and they close everything by 12 anyway and move people on to local bars so it's silent past then. No laundry service or breakfast which was a shame but a good laundrette round the corner for 25k a kilo. Lockers for bags were quite small if you have a suitcase/large bag they won't fit in. This leads to suitcases in the room which aren’t the biggest so could be an issue if there’s a few of you with big bags. For reference my Osprey 40L fit in but would struggle with anything above that I think. Showers were beautiful and toilets very clean (you can even flush toilet paper!).
It was my first time beeing in a Hostel, I chose it to socialize a little bit and it was awesome. The owner Peter is super nice, the staff is nice and Overall the hostel is really nice. If you look for fun nights start there, the hostel closes its party at midnight and directly around the corner is the "main party bar street" the beach is super close by and infront of rom casa is 2ladykitchen the best banmi and coffee shop for me. Thanks for the stay. Even after my initial nights in the hostel i came back everyday as it felt like my "base" in da nang. Thank you to all workers Greetings Dennis
So good I've even returned early from Hoi An! The team here are really great, super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small but have everything you need, aircon is great and beds are comfy. Showers/toilets are slightly on the smaller side but provide extras such as tooth brushes, shampoo and body wash. Hanh (I think) the manager - so friendly and kind. Amazing social area and super easy to meet people. Everyone tends to spend time in this one area so it's hard not to bump into others. 3 minute walk to the beach and lots of amazing food options nearby!
Really friendly staff, sociable, and central location. Bar area is nice but really loud songs playing on repeat even when no one is there, so it wasn’t very pleasant to relax in. Rooms and bathrooms (esp the floors) need to be cleaned better (!) and the beds are really loud so I slept badly. Depends what you’re looking for, but this place wasn’t for me - I have stayed at other hostels in Vietnam for the same price but much higher standards.
I had a great time staying here, great social aspect at night and met a lot of good people. Most of the staff I met were really friendly, especially the bar staff and the people running the activities. Really brought everyone together and fun having these games. You’ll meet lots of people at the bar and they got a happy hour. Just make sure you got enough cash for it. The drom I had was across the road so it was perfectly quiet at night, no noise from the bar at night. The dorm is squishy tho and the beds are a little squeaky and if the other person moves at all you can feel it too. Bathrooms were great too but also did feel a little too small. All up a great stay and it was easy to meet other people.
TLDR: can’t trust staff, owner will try to misrepresent you. ==== The owner has edited his reply. The original reply acknowledged that he was mistaken in the Hostelworld review response and apologized. The edited response takes no responsibility. I think that speaks volumes for how the owner runs this business and views their responsibility to guests. ==== I took a GRAB from the Da Nang airport to this hostel. The driver followed me in into the hostel and insisted I give him 15K for airport fees via the tip function on the app. The receptionist and bartender translated this interaction and when I asked them if it was normal, they said yes. 1. Grab automatically adds the fee of 10K to your final receipt so this was not necessary. I confirmed this on the Grab website. 2. Grab conveniently only offers 10K and 20K tip options, so I had to give 20K 3. I later talked to other travelers who said this was not normal and I was scammed. It felt off to me, but because the hostel staff said it was standard I trusted them and paid. When I found out later this was not normal, I posted the experience in Hostelworld. The owner/manager replied and said that the 10K fee is standard for taxis. Note that 1) I was charged 15K and 2) I took a Grab, not a taxi, as I described in my review. The owner also said I should have asked for a manager. I suppose he is right that at this hostel I should have gone in with the assumption that the staff is untrustworthy and assume they would not try to be helpful or honest with me. I only confirmed later, when reception was shut after speaking with other travelers that I had been ripped off and the staff assisted with it. Best case scenario they didn’t feel like it was worth it to stand up for a guest. Worst case scenario they are in on it and get a portion of the profit. I am a solo female traveler and having a male driver follow me into where I live who also knows where I live is scary. One of the reasons I choose hostels is for the security and safety that the local staff brings. That is not this hostel. I do not recommend staying here unless you are very vigilant with the staff, OK with not receiving help, and are prepared for the owner to gaslight you should you have any bad experiences.
Didn't stay here, however stepped in for a bit as I ran into some travellers who did. The vibe curated is truly something else, with regulars and team members alike hosting games and playing music to foster a cohesive group dynamic. Will definitely consider staying here on future visits to Da Nang.
I enjoyed staying here. Met some cool people. Rooms were nice enough, staff super friendly. Lots of restaurants around and the beach a 5 minute walk. It is in the very tourist area of town. I would stay again. Thanks guys.
The nice room they show on Booking is probably in the main building, which is actually very beautiful with a bar and a pool table. Unfortunately, they put me in the building across the street and the room was quite ugly and very small. The lockers are tiny and mine broke, so I had to carry my laptop and camera around with me all day until they fixed it. Then they told me they would prefer that I check out, since I asked for the room I had originally booked. It’s a shame, because the staff was actually super kind.
A good hostel. Kept pretty clean. Beds are very comfy with curtains, they do move a bit when the top bunk climbs into bed though. Good AC. Lockers in the bedroom. WiFi is good during the day but at night when most people are back it’s a bit weak. It is a bit of a party hostel, music is turned off around midnight. Great location, few min walk to the beach & lots of good food spots around. Nice and friendly people working. Bonus - two very cute friendly dogs. They have body wash, shampoo in the showers, q tips, and tooth brushes available in the bathrooms.
