Rice River Villa

We cannot express what a wonderful time we had at Rice River Villa. Kim and her two sisters are the most wonderful, kind, smiley hosts you could hope for! From the start they seemed like genuinely kind people that want you to have a good time in Hoi An - with plenty of advice for places to eat, shop, prices to pay etc. Kim helped me to organise a hair cut in town for a very good price which I was so grateful for. We used the free bicycles to get to the beach and in to town and the location was perfect for us. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious and was refreshed each day and they organised our laundry at a good price. The breakfast was amazing - the best portion of banana and chocolate pancakes you have ever seen! I think we ate it every day for 21 days straight! We felt like a big part of the family and were really sad to leave but we will definitely be returning. Thank you all for the most amazing stay - we miss you all!

We are leaving here today after 8 nights, and have loved our stay. The rooms are beautiful, beds amazingly comfortable, shower great, movies in English 😁, breakfast very filling and tasty (loved the banana pancakes, but mostly had omelette to try and be healthy as lots of veg in it, didn't try the other options). We refilled our water bottles daily from their water purifier to save plastic, and Kim, Li and the other family members were all very friendly, laid back and extremely helpful. They just made you feel really well looked after. On the down side the Gym equipment is tired (there are weights, the treadmill looks broken, don't know about the bike) and on the hot roof, but better than nothing, and for the price you wouldn't expect any sort of gym. I only used the pool on our last day as I figured it was too small to bother with. However I wish I'd tried it sooner. You can do about 5 strokes, which is big enough to do laps, and it's a lovely temperature and well kept. The hotel is located half way between the town and beaches, free bikes are available to get around (10 mins flat bike ride to either). It may be away from the action, it's also away from moped mayhem and the air pollution that comes with it. I highly recommend this place.

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful accommodation. We were very lucky to choose our own room which had stunning views all round with a massive balcony. The room was clean, spacious and it had ac. There was a very clean swimming pool which we used every day for our weeks stay. As for the staff, they were the friendliest and kindest people we had come across. They also offered some very yummy food. We also enjoyed some of the best coffee in Vietnam right across the road at Trilong coffee. Lastly all bicycles were used free of charge. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for 4 days in total after extending our stay for a couple more days. The owners are very lovely and are happy to help with recommendations. You get a huge room plus breakfast with a coffee/ tea for a great price. We used the free bikes to ride into town and the beach which I would recommend as they aren’t far. This place is a little out the way which was perfect for us, but a bike ride away from restaurants I’d say. You’re surrounded by fields which makes the place relaxing compared to other parts of Vietnam! Some days there wasn’t certain meals on the menu due to low supply when we wanted to eat dinner at the homestay which is a shame.

Highly recommend this villa if you are staying in Hoi An, the location is easily accessible via Grab app. Ly, our host, is incredibly helpful and accommodating. She helped us book tours and gave us a lot of recommendations.

We stayed at this villa. The cleanliness and hospitality were excellent, and all the services were excellent. For those who want to stay at this villa, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed, because all the services are that good.

I went here with my family, a total of 8 people. They were very accommodating. The place is well kept. It's a cute villa for sure. The workers are very friendly and thoughtful. It's also only 9 min drive from old town. There are 3 floors, but no elevator so you will need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside, but they do provide inside sandals.

We had a wonderful stay and were greeted warmly. The rooms were spacious and clean. I had a cold and couldn’t use the a/c so they kindly provided a great fan. Also, I could order hot ginger tea for breakfast. While I couldn’t use the pool but it was cleaned daily. There are two coffee shops across the street and a local store just around the corner. They also offer free bikes. It was an amazing week. Thanks for everything!

We stayed with Ms Le for the second time and what a wonderful place and 7 star hospitality! What an amazing place and nice people!!! It is in a nice and quiet area but you are at the beach and in the old town in 5 minutes time. Highly recommended when you visit Hoi An and we advise it to all our friends and family!

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The air conditioning was ineffective, making the space uncomfortable. One major concern was the presence of a housekeeper living on-site, even though we had rented the entire property. This made the stay feel intrusive, as it limited our privacy and freedom to fully enjoy the space. We were even asked to turn off our speaker by 7:30 PM, which was surprising and not something we expected when booking a private home. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The people here are extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and cleaned the room every day, which is very nice. They also have bicycles to rent and a nice little pool. The orange juice here is also fantastic
