Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection by IHG

We had an amazing stay at Moire Hoi An. As IHG Platinum members who have stayed at many IHG properties around the world, we can honestly say this hotel is truly special and completely won us over. A big thank you to the wonderful staff for upgrading us to a river-view room. The view was absolutely stunning overlooking the river with colorful boats and the vibrant Hoi An market on the opposite side. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, stylish, and serene, making it a perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing stay while still being right in the heart of Hoi An. The service here is top-notch. I had to work late at night and join meetings past midnight, and when I asked the staff where I could work in a quiet environment, they went above and beyond by giving me access to an empty room so I could work uninterrupted. That level of care and flexibility really stood out. The hotel facilities are excellent. There are great gym, multiple swimming pools a children’s pool, an adult pool, and a leisure pool along with a bar conveniently located next to the pool area. The coffee shop is lovely and even has a dedicated children’s corner, which was a great touch for families. We truly fell in love with Moire Hoi An. Everything from the atmosphere to the service exceeded our expectations, and we will absolutely be staying here again on our next visit.

Well-located hotel on the edge of town—close enough to reach the Old Quarter easily, either on foot across the bridge or by boat. Rooms are simply decorated, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything you'd expect. Worth getting a water view room, though be aware of boat noise early mornings. We didn't use the pool due to colder weather, but it looked good. , and the spa treatment was excellent. Our air conditioning failed one night (aftermath of recent flooding), but the staff handled it well and moved us to a suite for our final night. They were wonderful. The only thing we weren't really impressed with was the breakfast; the pho was nothing memorable. But my mango daiquiri in the evening was very good (ask without sugar syrup).

Nicely placed hotel, good gym and pool facilities and friendly staff and service (especially Ivy at the reception!) The downsides: We found the elevators and our room to be quite smelly—like dust or mold. The hotel clearly labels vegan items on their menu that is not actually vegan but vegetarian (like honey and feta cheese for example) so we didn’t feel we could trust the staff at the breakfast (who were helpful in pointing out vegan options) to accurately point out items either. I hope this will be improved. We did really appreciate the oat milk for lattes however, and it was a nice stay overall.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the lobby. The building is extremely run-down, covered in black mould, next to a construction site. the room was not cleaned properly with hairs on the floor. We were moved to another room and there are still a couple hairs meaning the cleaning standards here are not at the level of a 5 star hotel. Black mould everywhere. Honestly it feels like a 3 star hotel. I definitely feel duped. Do not recommend at all.

One of the best hotel i have ever stayed at. The level of service is unmatched. The room is so nice and clean, with a sick view of the river. The location is super central and walkable to the market and old town. All the staff are so attentive and amazing. 10/10

Very clean and modern hotel. We enjoyed our stay there although it's only 1 night. The staff were very thoughtful providing the most comprehensive package for our kids. Something that most hotels usually missed. We ordered the local afternoon tea, and the presentation was great. Everyone speaks English well and some staff speak Mandarin and Korean. I wished we spent more time in Hoi An. Will definitely come back.

Moire Hoi An – Vignette Collection delivered an excellent stay from start to finish. The location is ideal, right across from the Ancient Town and about a 10-minute walk to all the main sights. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, with a nice pool and a well-equipped gym. Staff were consistently attentive and genuinely focused on guest comfort. The morning buffet had a huge selection and was well organized. We stayed in a king size bed room with a river view and enjoyed watching the colorful lantern boats pass by at night. Overall, a very positive experience and a great base for exploring Hoi An.

Excellent location, phenomenal service, fabulous facilities, and modern rooms! Loved our stay and so happy with our choice. Yes—it is more expensive but well worth it. We loved the morning breakfast and server Rin (pictured) was the best ever! Very professional and personable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located a bridge away from the old city. The rooms have recently renovated and we could feel how modern and clean the rooms were. So clean that I even dropped something under the bed and noticed it was spotless! We enjoyed housecleaning twice a day. Breakfast was okay, although the salted coffee was to die for. The pool is nice and relaxing and it was nice to refresh on a hot day. We checked out Yellow bike cycle and honestly it was a overpriced and not that good. I would avoid that particular Resturant as you can find cheaper and better food across the bridge. My only problem with this hotel and the reason I took a star was during check in they requested my wife’s email and then a few days later she got a notification that she was signed up for IHG reward. Which is absolutely not okay as she did not consent for it. This was very unprofessional on the part of the hotel especially because it was one of the managers that assisted us. Besides that particular person the rest of the staff were really kind.Key example was the groundskeeper that always gave us a friendly hello whenever we walked by them. I would definitely come back here but I really hope they fix the previous stated problem.

We had a great time at the Moire Hoi An which is conveniently located across the river from the Old Town. The services and amenities were excellent, including the well-appointed pool and free bicycles which I used to explore the pedestrian-friendly islands. The breakfast spread was amazing with many Vietnamese dishes and we enjoyed dinner at the Yellow Bicycle so much that we were there 3 times during our stay. Thanks for Duyen who provided excellent service at the restaurant.

Overall great experience. Very clean and modern, great hospitality, nice river views and tucked away in one quite corner of Hoi An but with great access. I enjoyed the Bicycle resturant and the pool bar, as well as the pool. Only disappointment where lack of the desk in the room to put your laptop etc for some light work, poorly equipped gym and lack of any significant upgrade options for IHG platinum guests.
