Meliá Vinpearl Danang Riverfront

We stayed here for 5 nights during the storm and bad weather. On arrival staff were attentive and check in was swift. The location is excellent for good local facilities, we were just unfortunate with the bad weather which didn’t allow us to explore. The indoor swimming pool, gym and kids club was a real benefit as it meant we were not stuck inside our hotel room. The pool area was staffed and provided clean towels. I gave this a 4 star review as the bedrooms needs some improvement. The shower temperature was not hot enough. I will like to visit again if I come back to Danang/ hopefully during better weather.

Amazing stay! The hotel is in a great location, the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Excellent service and a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Highly recommended — I would definitely stay here again.

Initially came just for a week for the new years but ended up staying the entire month. Amazing views from the Panoramic Suite, comfortable bed and lots of pillows and the staff are very welcoming and nice. The gym deserve a special note and probably made the experience much more enjoyable, it's well equipped with a smith, bench, cables and some machines so you can get a serious work out in and not spend extra money on going to a different gym. Dumbbells are up to 25 though. The pool has it's own bar called Gaia where you can order food & drinks while enjoying the nice view. Also a cafe in the lobby and a mini market within 5 minute walk.

Not a very well maintained hotel and doesn’t deserve such good reviews. Majority are from tour groups from Korea. The balcony hinges were loose, room was average and hospitality was ok. Would definitely spend this money elsewhere as your money will go way further

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience at Melia has been extremely disappointing from the very beginning. The two reception staff members who assisted us were noticeably unfriendly and appeared irritated throughout the interaction. Their tone and attitude made us feel unwelcome, as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. This is far from what anyone would expect from a five-star hotel. To make matters worse, the room condition was equally disappointing. The air conditioning was so ineffective that we could barely tell whether it was functioning at all. For a hotel of this category, basic comfort such as proper climate control should not even be a question. We chose this hotel expecting premium hospitality and comfort, but both the service and room standards fell well below expectations — even compared to smaller boutique hotels nearby. A luxury hotel is defined not only by its facilities, but by professionalism and genuine hospitality. Sadly, this stay did not reflect the reputation associated with the brand. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements.

Dec 28, 2025 We back in Da Nang after 1 year ago just me and my wife. We brought the family this time and staying at one of Vinpearl hotels. We just came from Phu Quoc staying at Vinpearl Wonderworld and it was luxurious there. Here is close and convenient to the main strips and the breakfast buffet is good, not as big and big of a selection as the Phu Quoc resort. Outdoor pool and hot tub is cold.....22°C on Dec 27, 2025. They have indoor pool, but its always so packed! Their gym facility is great 👍. Their bell boy brought our 9 luggages up to our suite withing minutes of getting to our 3 rooms. At $500 CAD for 4 nights per room is great value! Dec 29, 2025 Their menu for breakfast buffet got a bit better with some new items on our 2nd day here. I like how they do this, keeps it interesting. They got 1 big restaurant on 2nd floor and 2 smaller restaurants on 3rd floor with great views of city. All make the same breakfast buffet. Dec 30, 2025 We had a 1hr couples massage for $650k VND each, which includes use of the sauna and steam room. Each men and women changing rooms has their own! To use the sauna and steam room would cost $150k VND. Definitely worth it to do the massage. Comes to $35 CAD each....at home in Vancouver that would cost $120 CAD for RMT. I requested for very strong massage and it was 👍.

Had a great stay at the Melia Vinpearl Danang Riverfront Hotel in January 2026. The only hiccup was that the room wasn't ready when we arrived around 4pm, which was disappointing and they took another 15 minutes. When we got to the room, there was still dirty clothes in the bathroom from the previous customer. This was resolved quickly by their housekeeping team. Overall the hotel is great - friendly staff, great breakfast and nice facilities. We especially enjoyed getting to know the staff at the Moss cafe in the lobby area - the hospitality manager there was super friendly and helpful. We did the Vietnamese coffee class with them - a must try! Also a good location, about 20 minutes walk to the dragon bridge and the night market! Would stay again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We were so happy with our stay here and were treated so well by the staff. We also used Grab a lot and their 20% off promotion was very useful for us. The room was comfortable, the view was amazing from the panoramic suite. Highly recommend staying here.

The first time I booked this hotel, I had a disappointing experience. However, upon returning for a second night, the hotel was nice enough to make up for it. The team that greeted me were extraordinarily friendly and polite. They acknowledged my disappointment and more than made up for the first time. The hotel is situated in a good location with great views of both the city and the river. It’s next to a shopping mall, walking distance across the bridge to city center. It’s near the Dragon Bridge which is an extra perk if you’re staying at the hotel during Friday to Sunday. That when you can walk over to see the dragon breathe fireworks. This time I did get the room with the bathtub which was very nice for my bad back. Everyone on the team was extra attentive to ensure I had a good stay. This was the opposite experience I had from the first time. I want to thank everyone who made my second stay a pleasure.

My stay at Melia was a last minute decision but the hotel was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious for a great price. When we arrived, we received a room with double beds but easily pushed them together with no problems. The rooms are not so soundproof from the ones next door but it wasn’t a huge problem during the night. I would definitely return due to its great and central location.
