Laluna Hoi An Riverside Hotel & Spa

We loved our stay at Laluna Hotel. The service from every single employee was very nice and helpful, they helped with our tours, interests, meals and transportation. We used the spa every day and it was a great experience (with additional discount), the location is walkable everywhere and the pool is a nice perk to have. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious, with multiple options. Rooms were good as well. 5 stars!!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were some of the most polite and helpful people I’ve ever met. Special mention the managers Mr. chow and Miss Ana, who was incredibly kind and humble. The food was amazing, and the toiletries were always well stocked. The view from the hotel was awesome, and I loved that they offered free cycles for guests to explore around. It’s a very child-friendly place, perfect for families. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hoi An!

We had a mixed experience during our stay at Laluna. While the staff was friendly, the hotel aligns more with a 3-star standard than a 4 or 5-star one. If you set expectations for a solid 3-star stay, you will enjoy the great location. But those expecting a 4+ star experience may be disappointed. The location is excellent and the breakfast was also solid (not super, but solid). One of our bigger gripes was being asked to switch rooms in the middle of our trip, over a four-day stay, to accommodate a future guest. This was clearly very inconvenient for us, but the odd part was they were booting out an existing customer from a room (not a special room, btw) to accommodate a future guest! While the rooms were generally clean, the bedding felt perpetually damp and the air conditioning unit was distractingly loud. There is a gym on-site, though it lacks the polish of most "resort gyms."

All the staff are friendly, approachable and warm upon visiting. They took the time to explain nearby sights of Old Town and also provided a map. They even provide free bicycles if you are keen to ride around. Breakfast was a good spread, adequate for us. Rooms were fantastic, the room we stayed in had a king bed, a tub and shower, plus I booked a front-facing river view. We didn’t go out to the balcony much so I believe a pool-facing room would be good too. Each room had a large umbrella that we used when we headed out in the light rain (Dec). We also used the laundry service one night (60k VND for 1kg) which was completed by the next afternoon, nicely folded and delivered to our room. Location is 7mins walk to old town, near enough to shops and food, but far enough so it’s relatively quiet. Anyway, you can grab anywhere easily! Would recommend Laluna to anyone visiting Hoi An! ☺️

I booked this hotel last minute and I’m so glad I did. The room was spacious, bright, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location was excellent - quiet and peaceful, yet only a short, pleasant walk along the river to all the action. I treated myself to a fantastic spa experience (massage and facial), squeezed in a quick workout at the fitness centre and enjoyed a delicious cocktail by the pool. Breakfast offered an impressive variety and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing stay at Laluna Hoi An Riverside, and it truly became a highlight of our Vietnam trip. We’ve traveled through Hanoi, Sapa, Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh, and this has probably been our best stay in the country. A special mention goes to Ms. Tina and Mr. Chau, who were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. I really appreciated the small morning chats and their help in guiding us on where to go and how to get there. They were always so courteous, kind, and genuinely lovely to talk to. Their warm hospitality really made us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is wonderful, but it’s the lovely staff who make the experience truly memorable. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and highly recommend Laluna Hoi An Riverside to anyone visiting Hoi An. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Laluna hotel. - Breakfast had varied selection of fresh foods including traditional options. - Great customer service: staff were exceptionally helpful and cheery. All staff members were proactive and definitely made our stay that much more comfortable. Particularly Mr. Chau was exceedingly welcoming from the get go and his regular check ins with us and his cheerful disposition was much appreciated. - The room itself was lovely, really spacious and clean. We did find that coming in the rainy season meant our room was slightly damp at times, although this did not impact us at all. - The location is also a bonus with the hotel being a 5 minute walk from the old town with an abundance of shops and great dining choices, we recommend Morning Glory in particular! Again, this was practically a flawless stay at an incredible price point and we'd 100% recommend to anyone coming to Hoi An in the future.

Beautiful hotel. In short walk to the old City. Clean rooms and wonderful breakfast. The absolute best is the staff. Thanks to Ms. Anh, the manager has made our stay even better with her lovely personality and excellent service. The staff was an amazing contribution to a perfect stay here. Ms. Anh’s appearance made us wanting to cancel our next stay and stay here but we couldn’t as being on roadtrip around Vietnam. As full time travelers we have been staying in countless hotels around the world and when you experience a manager with this approach and personality, you know this is the right choice.

Location of the hotel is right against the river and walkable to all the must see and must try areas. It's not too busy a street, so getting a grab or taxi is easily accessible as well Room and bed itself are very spacious and clean. The staff was helpful in bringing our luggage into the lobby and up to our rooms, and they checked in to ask how we were enjoying our stay. The free breakfast had a nice spread of Vietnamese food, and also more Western cuisines. Overall a great experience.

I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment I checked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They worked hard to get my room ready early, and when I was sick on my first night, the hotel team thoughtfully sent ginger tea to my room, which meant so much. The spa is lovely—I had my nails and toes done, and my polish still hasn’t chipped. The staff remembers your name and always acknowledges you, which makes the experience feel very personal. I stayed in the luxury king room overlooking the river, and it was perfect—very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Breakfast and room service were both delicious, and the hotel’s location is ideal. Everything is extremely walkable. The hotel staff also made transportation incredibly easy by arranging my airport transfer as well as transportation from the hotel to Ba Na Hills, which made traveling stress-free. If I return to Hoi An, I would absolutely stay here again.

I love this hotel! It is right across the Hoai River where the nightly lantern floats are done. However, it’s location is slightly off the spot where lanterns are made to float so we are spared from the crowd and the noise but close enough for us to walk to the boats and gawk at the lanterns. The hospitality of the staff is topnotch!! When they learned that it was my husband’s birthday, they gave him a gift. And as if that’s not enough, they surprised him and the family with a birthday cake and matching bday song at the lobby. They have free bikes for use by guests at any time. They also have very good recommendations as to what to do and where to go. The Hotel Manager approaches us daily at breakfast to inquire as to how we are and what our plans are. Their recommendations also are the best. On our last day, they allowed us to use the showers at their spa since out flight won’t be until 10PM, ie, even if we do not book massage services. But then, we ended up just getting the massages at their spa anyway. And we loved it! We are now planning our return with the rest of the family.
