Very friendly staff willing to help out with everything you need. The rooms are looked after and comfortable. The only issue was noise from guest staying at the hostel, but things like that you cannot control sadly. I appreciated the storage lockers for safekeeping as well as draws under bed for items that you might need on the go. A lot of places around to get food or drinks. Breakfast included in the price, however it is quite humble.

The stay was very uncomfortable. The bed had bed bugs—I killed several myself and ended up covered in bites. Mosquitoes were everywhere, including dorms and washrooms. The bathrooms were cramped and difficult to use. AC was inconsistent, turned on late at night and switched off too early in the morning, leaving the room hot. No free drinking water was available either. Overall, hygiene and basic facilities were lacking.
The room is very dirty with lots of dusts on the floor, we required the staff to clean the room but they also didn't do anything. The bathroom is dirty, smelly and very humid. No new towels and no new water bottles.
I didn't stay here but I wanted to. I traveled across town to visit the reception in person and asked asking to check out a dorm (wanted to make sure it's hygenic). They flat out refused me. Strange unfriendly behaviour. Bot sure if it's the way I look or what the deal is. But that answered my question of if I wanna stay a few weeks in a place like that 😂
Pros The location was like 10 mins walking to dragon bridge. If you want to drink and eat there are many eateries on this eastern side of the bridge. However if u want a peaceful evening by the river side look for th western side. Rooms were good and well lit with a large glass window in third floor which i found great. Each beds have a personal fan also which most hoztels don't have. Cons One issue i found was the washrooms were very small. I couldnt even bathe properly. Hot water wasnt available when i checked in morning. No place to hang wet clothes. Also i wasn't informed about the complimentary breakfast. Staff ony explained the rules of hostel while giving keys
This is right now my favorite hostel in vietnam. I stayed here for two months and while far from perfect it is the first hostel i ever stayed at that provided an incredible value. No hot water if i recall but this will always be a favorite place for me because the overall design is decent. The price is excellent. Recommended.
Very good hostel for backpackers. Loved the room and bed was very comfortable. Only issue is that the toilets are very small but it’s not a deal breaker. And also that everything is cash based. No card machine.
‼️BED BUGS‼️ Stay here if you want bed bugs…massive infestation that has clearly been there for months looking at other reviews. The staff 100% know and just don’t care. Booked through Hostelworld, no reviews of bed bugs. Found out why…they cancel your booking before you can leave a review which is extremely dishonest. They only refunded after asking multiple times and tried to short-change me. Not only this, the general cleanliness of this hostel is very poor. This place needs serious help.
You must be braindead to leave good reviews for a bedbug-infested place!!! Dorms 2 and 3 are completely infested. According to other reviews, this has been an ongoing problem for a long time. It will not go away unless they shut the place down for a week and hire proper disinfection team—but they won’t. Because night-shift management lives in the kitchen and has nowhere else to go. One-time bed disinfection only works short term; I know this from five years of traveling. Cherry on top: the toilets are filthy and have never been cleaned with chemicals since the hostel opened. Common areas are also dirty—typical for Vietnam, they just sweeping the floors, wet cleaning is only once in 3 days.
I really enjoyed my time here. The hostel isn’t luxury, but it’s comfortable, well located, and run by very nice people. It’s just a short walk to Dragon Bridge and not too far from the beach either.
The hostel has a calm, friendly vibe, with a rooftop area and common space to relax. Rooms are simple but functional, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. A few minor downsides like small toilets, but nothing serious. Definitely worth it for the price.
I am writing this review to share my experience in an objective and factual manner. First, the information stating that the reception operates 24 hours is inaccurate. During my stay, the doors were locked overnight until approximately 7:30 AM, which may create inconvenience or safety concerns for guests who need access during those hours. The most serious issue was the presence of bed bugs. Upon arrival, we met two guests who informed us they had changed beds after finding multiple bed bugs. Despite this, new guests continued to be assigned to the same beds. Later that night, I personally observed bed bugs on my mattress. The only action taken by staff was changing the bed sheets, without relocating me to a different room or implementing any visible pest control measures. Changing sheets does not resolve a bed bug infestation. The following morning, I had more than 30 bites across my body, resulting in significant discomfort. Additionally, the breakfast provided was extremely limited, consisting of one piece of bread and one fried egg. The egg appeared to be cooked in old oil, with a strong taste and excessive grease. The overall hygiene standards were poor. The bathrooms were very small and had only cold water. The surrounding area also had visible rats in the street. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property. I strongly encourage management to address these issues to ensure basic health, hygiene, and transparency standards for future guests.
