Our two-night stay in the villa suite offered gorgeous ocean views and a unique highlight: an elegant canal winding through the property, filled with hundreds of beautiful koi. The setting is truly impressive. That said, the room could benefit from better upkeep—we noticed the floors weren't entirely clean and found a few insects inside. Hoping management addresses this, as the property has great potential.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. We stayed for a week, and every moment was truly worthwhile. We also had the pleasure of celebrating our Christmas party here, which made our experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome. Each time I returned to my room, I was greeted with a welcome drink and genuine smiles. I would especially like to commend Ellis for her outstanding service—she truly made a difference in our stay. We look forward to returning next year with our family.
We stayed in this fabulous resort for 8 nights in a package which included breakfast and a 5 course meal (dinner or lunch) big shout to Thanh Vo (and everyone really!) from Aqua Vista Restaurant which looked after us everyday, set menus were delicious and had variety, we were never hungry. Staff across the resort is very friendly and always happy to help. The location is a bit far from the city, 20 minutes by car, very easy with grab/taxis and hotel shuttle, it can be very positive if want to visit Hoi An as it is in the middle. Something else we loved was that it was only walking distance to Marble Mountains a must do activity. Facilities are grand and worth of a 5 star resort: pools, spa, spaces, koi fish. We visited the spa a couple of times and we loved it, the rooms are great, professional staff and super clean. The only negative comment is that we were not able to enjoy the pools as it was raining every day, It would have been great to have a heated pool as it seem such a waste for visitors staying during winter/rainy days.
Staff super abliging, extra friendly, great resort, so much great food, our suite with pool is amazing. The rooms and public areas are clean and beautifully maintained. Very well situated just outside Da Nang city centre.
I used there Spa services, the only reason, I did not give 5 stars. Is because when me and a friend entered the property. The event hostess, (was not Vietnamese) it was a European foreigner, that does not know how to speak to people. Simply put ,she was plan out RUDE to both of us. I'm not even sure if she works there. But she acted as if she represented the establishment. How ever. The rest of the services at the establishment, we're wonderful, and relaxing. Oil rub, foot massage, back massage ,sauna, and pool were all wonderful.
The property is genuinely beautiful — expansive, peaceful, and very impressive at first glance. If we had stayed just two days, I would probably have rated it around 3.5 stars. However, staying for five days gave us a clearer picture, and unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the prices we paid. Something as basic as getting an iron turned into a daily struggle. We had to call 7–9 times, and each time we were met with excuses, delays, or a surprisingly rude tone from reception. Breakfast was another letdown. Food often ran out and wasn’t refilled unless guests specifically asked, which felt odd for a resort fully booked during the new years. We visited in December, and the swimming pool wasn’t temperature controlled, making it too cold to enjoy properly. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Rooms were usually cleaned very late in the day (around 5–6 pm) unless we specifically asked for earlier service. Even then, the cleanliness wasn’t always up to standard — on two occasions, the towels provided were still damp. Overall, the resort has a lot of potential because the property itself is lovely. But the service quality, attention to detail, and overall guest experience don’t currently match the price point. With better management and more care, it could be much better.
We stayed in the Ruby room beachfront Villa four bedroom. The room itself is okay. The vibe around the resort is a bit weird. There's not that many people and most bars and restaurants are empty. The staff are mostly nice and very polite and kind, but sometimes it's difficult to communicate with them. They got many things wrong that I had asked for. The location is okay but there's not much around. It's in front of marble mountain which is good and you can walk there. Would I stay here again? Definitely not. They have plenty other options near My khe beach and also Hoi An. I hope they can improve on their service and if the manager ever needs any tips im happy to fly back and show them how they could make this resort a true five-star. Just needs a bit of fine-tuning to cater to everyone.
It was a three nights stay and the rooms were average for the price paid. Musty smells inside. And even after the room was cleaned, the counters in the bathroom were not. Lack of adequate dustbins. The staff knowing very little to no English was very tough but we managed. The breakfast was amazing. The Koi pond was great. But the lack of planning kids activities were not good. They would put up a board with a schedule and when I asked about it, the staff said there are no activities and the room is locked for maintenance. Upon my insistence the activity was conducted in a different room near the indoor pool. A lack of effort to run the show. The view of the Koi was the best. The access to the beach was also nice.
I stayed at this resort for four days, and it was my first resort experience in this city. Overall, the experience was very positive. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. The services provided met our expectations and made the stay comfortable and smooth. The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant environment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city and looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay. Special thanks to the night-shift receptionist with glasses (sorry I forgot his name) for arranging all room-related matters during our stay. He was very dedicated to meeting our expectations, always welcoming us with a warm smile, and consistently going the extra mile to help.
We booked the Grand Suite at KOI Resort & Residence Da Nang and were extremely happy with both the room and the hospitality. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. We were a little skeptical before arriving due to some of the reviews we had read, but after our stay it was clear that the resort maintains a high standard of service, and those reviews did not reflect our experience at all. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Vietnamese people are genuinely warm and welcoming, and this truly shined throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend KOI Resort & Residence Da Nang to anyone seeking comfort, excellent service, and authentic Vietnamese hospitality.
Just spent 5 days here at Koi Resort & it was magical. The room, the people & the hospitality here was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Everyone was accommodating, friendly & the warmth felt genuine & from the heart. All the staff we interacted with were truly amazing. Some of the standouts were Thu & Ba at Reception, Phan at the Bell Desk, Hoa & Nhan at Breakfast, Hou at Manta Beach Bar & Thanh at the Spa Thank you for contributing to such a wonderful experience in Da Nang, I definitely intend on returning
I just returned to KOI Resort & Residence Da Nang for the second time, about six months after my first stay. The main reason I wanted to come back was still the food. The afternoon tea is very well prepared, with a nice selection and everything tastes great. The breakfast buffet is also one of my favorite parts — diverse, high quality, and you can really feel the care put into it. This time, the experience was just as good as I remembered. A great place for a relaxing stay and to truly enjoy the moment.
