Hoi An Historic Hotel

I recently stayed at Hoi An Historic Hotel, and while some of the facilities show their age, what truly makes this hotel special is the people. Everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel very welcome. The hotel has a charming, historic atmosphere that really adds to the Hoi An experience. I especially appreciated the genuine care and friendliness of the team, which made our visit even more memorable. I would gladly stay here again for the exceptional hospitality.

Such an amazing hotel. We had the residential suite and it is absolutely beautiful. The entrance and foyer was decorated beautifully for christmas and that really made a difference for being away for this holiday. The staff are very helpful and explain everything about the area and facilities of the hotel. We arrived after dusk so really looking forward to the daytime for the pool and gym. The location is very central to the old town and everything is accessable by walk but they do offer complementary bikes to explore.

There is a quite beautiful hotel in Hoi An in Vietnam. It is 'Historic Hotel.'' One of the Wonderful hotels in the world. It serves morning buffet in the beautiful garden. It is very nice. In the restaurant, if you are lucky, you could meet a nice man working as a waiter named Phat. He will give you heartwarming smile and hot coffee! It is a good experience you could have in the morning!

Hoi An Historic Hotel is a beautiful hotel accessible to all the tourists attractions. The front desk staff is willing to provide information and recommendations to places of interest and good restaurants for authentic Hoi An/Vietnamese cuisines. What impressed me most was the service of the staff in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. We were served by Ms Tien, the Manager who went above and beyond to take care of our needs. We are a party of 6, with 4 of us in the mid 70s and 80s and very needy seniors. Because we had such a wonderful experience during breakfast, we decided to have dinner at the Restaurant. We were again served by Ms. Tien, Mr. Binh and Ms. Phuong. They were very patient with explaining the Happy Hour Special to us seniors who are hard of hearing. They were very attentive to our needs. When they saw that some of us seniors feeling cold sitting in the restaurant. Ms. Tien brought us a pot of hot water and that really warm our heart. We are sure that Ms. Tien, with her capable leadership and wonderful customer service skills will continue to lead her team to an enjoyable time at the Restaurant. Hoi An Historic Hotel will be our choice hotel for our future travel to Hoi An because of the fantastic service provided by Ms. Tien, Mr. Binh and Ms. Phuong.

Hi we loved staying at the hotel. The spa staff were amazing we had a spa package that lasted 3 hours and was so relaxing. Big thankyou to Tam and Thuong. We enjoyed it so much we had another pamper package 2 days later. All staff were friendly and helpful but I would also like to mention one other staff member Nguyen Hoang Bar Man. He went out of his way to be helpful and friendly at all times to us.

A resort feel hotel with ideal location, within walking distant to old town and famous Banmi restaurant. All staff are helpful in their respective duties. Giang and Hien are front desk staff, showing great passion in their duties by pin pointing us to restaurants, arranging transportations ect. Breakfast is good with sufficient food and good service. Will come back to it again in my next visit if there is one.

I’m so happy that I chose this hotel for new year - clean and spacious room, beautiful territory, very good various choices for breakfast, walking distance (5 min!) to the old city. The service and support from the staff is exceptional and we felt like home. The new year eve dinner was well arranged and with incredible dishes, entertainment program and lots of care for the guests. Highly recommended

12/19/25. Historic Hotel with sprawling gardens and mature trees in Hoi An Old Town. The property has an impressive entrance with a drive up flanked with fountains. The reception staff was warm and accommodating. Welcome drinks were served while waiting for the room to be ready. Since this is a historic hotel, manage your expectations that it has some areas which looks dated. The room was spacious, bright, and simply finished. We loved the high ceilings, Netflix and YouTube ready TV, walk in shower (we dislike bathtub shower which drenches the whole toilet). Commendable drinking water in refillable carafes! This is the only hotel just at the entrance of the Old Town with large open grounds and mature trees. Even compared to the hotels and resorts we stayed in Da nang city center We really enjoyed Breakfast...a delight every morning eating under mature oak trees surrounded by open spaces with lush greens. Lastly, special mention to Ms. Ly of the reception team who oversaw the Pottery Experience. This unique activity made our stay truly memorable. We will come back definitely!

Great location! Beautiful historic style hotel. Walking distance to everything. Room was clean and nice. First building didn’t have elevator so it was hard for stroller with kids. Loud music from the neighborhood at night. Otherwise service was excellent. Will come back again and request to be in the new building in the back with elevator and more quiet.

The most striking feature was the spacious layout. Sprawling lawns, Huge trees added to the ambience. We had opted for a large pool facing room (with a small balcony). It was worth it. Morning breakfast, with an option to sit outside under the trees, was amazing. Located walking distance from the old town, it was quiet and relaxing. The only odd part was the tub in the bathroom. One needs to be extra careful while getting in and out of the bathroom.

A very well appointed Hotel close to scenic night market area, restaurants and shops. Reception staff are super helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The housekeeping staff were first class and responsive when requesting any …

We stayed at the historic hotel for seven days and we had a great time. We had a deluxe room with a balcony with a pool view and it was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything but still a quiet area. The staff were really nice and friendly and they treated us well. We liked the facilities the food and the atmosphere. The value for money was great and we enjoyed our time there.
