Hoi An Dream City Hotel

Room was a bit smelly of mold. It was alright after leaving the window open for a few hours. Other than that the rooms are spacious and comfy. Reception spoke good English and room was kept clean. Location is awesome as it is outside the busy streets but close enough.

Affordable rooms in a convenient location, just a 10-15 minute walk from Hoi An center. Dirty Buffalo Bar Restaurant stay open until midnight, the food is great, and the staff is super friendly. Perfect for business travelers like me

The hotel is very elegant with a modern style. The bedding in the room is soft and clean. The window opens to a view of the bustling streets. We could borrow bicycles from the hotel for free to explore Hoi An. Young people like us really enjoy this place. There are many banks and ATMs near the hotel for withdrawing cash.

Terrible Experience at Hoi An Dream City Hotel We had a highly disappointing stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone. Here’s what went wrong: 1. Towels Not Included? We’ve never encountered a hotel where towels are not included in the price. Upon check-in, the receptionist informed us of this absurd policy. When we expressed our frustration, she smiled dismissively, which only made matters worse. After insisting, we were begrudgingly given two small towels for the first night—completely unacceptable. 2. Laundry Service Disaster: We sent our clothes for laundry and explicitly requested not to use the dryer. When the clothes were returned, they were poorly folded, had visibly shrunk, and some had even lost their color. This was a frustrating and completely avoidable outcome. 3. Poor Customer Service: Throughout our stay, we felt the staff lacked professionalism and basic courtesy. Any concerns we raised were met with indifference, and at times, even condescension. 4. Rooms way too small. In conclusion, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. If you value your money and peace of mind, we strongly suggest staying elsewhere.

It is marked a 2 Star hotel & that is a fair evaluation. We spent 4 nights, $30/night. We booked/had the Deluxe Double Room! Very friendly staff & O.K. breakfast included(a la carte...3 choices). If you are a "complainer" or expect MORE than a 2 star hotel....I would suggest going somewhere else. For the price, it was liveable for us...if we were going back to Hoi An....we would take our chances at another place. It was O.K....but...

I really liked staying here, it was late 2024 but I can still say I slept so good here, the staff was nice, and I had this really wierd and nice dreams when I was swimming with a baby seal in the ocean. I really miss the baby seal! ☺️ If I wasnt such a coward i wouldn't have to go back, but I still have my bike at mr Hung and Hai so you will see me again!
