Heliport Hostel

Relaxed atmosphere, good location on the edge of town, easy walk in to the old town and town centre but quiet in the evening. Good beds, good laundry service. Would be nice to see some extra lockable storage under the beds but lockers are available so not really a problem.

Hostel and Owner/manager are Lovely. The place is new and just taking off. The club is fun and is the only bar in Hoi An open to 4am other than Tiger Tiger! Nice pool, really fun space. Lots to do! Also in a safe part of town, and they will drive you around! Highly recommend staying here!

We traveled from England and stayed here while we were in Hoi an and it was amazing, it was surprisingly quiet at the time and I can't for the life of me, understand why? The location is perfect (10 minutes from the bars down by the river and in the heart of the old town. The rooms are comfy and cool and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 2 night during my stay in Hoi An. The location is very good and the room was very clean an comfortable. The staff were helpful with any questions I had. The outdoor area is lovely with the pool and all the furniture. The dog is also an added bonus. Would recommend to anyone visiting. Great value for money.

Hello everyone, first of all, the hostel was nice but a cleaning lady stole about 1 million Dong from me. I withdrew 3,000,000 and used 1,500,000 in 3 days. When I was about to check out, I put my fanny pack down to brush my teeth and I came back 2 minutes later and saw the cleaning lady who had opened my fanny pack and finally I found my wallet open and only 200,000 dong left in my bag, weird! I told the receptionist about it who told me she would never do that, impossible to negotiate etc... but hey we know very well that they will defend themselves!

Just ok… The beds are super soft, like memory foam, but I’m not used to soft beds so I didn’t like it. There are bamboo dividers between each bed but if you’re on the top bunk and you stand up, you can see the person next to you. The blanket is just a very thin fleece blanket. The showers are all outdoor and only one of them had working hot water… I wasn’t given a towel (not sure if I was supposed to get one) Outside atmosphere was ok but didn’t spend much time there. Breakfast was just toast and a thin omelet. Overall it was just okay for one night.

Amazing experience here at Heliport Hostel. Surrounded by greenery colourful lit up lights at night. So much space to have your downtime as well as socialise when you’re feeling it with a bar, pool table, fuse ball. There’s the CUTEST dog ever that brings the place so much joy. Rooms a great, each dorm has blinds for privacy. Would recommend :)

Where to start ? The location is great only a stones throw from the centre of old town . The common area was ok but furniture was old and dirty. The rooms were hot and uncomfortable , the beds shaked every time you moved an inch . I wouldn’t recommend any late night excursions in them if you catch my drift . Staff were friendly enough and helpful , however the extra members of the team were not so welcome (rats). Cheap and close to town , but would personally splash out slightly more for a hostel that didn’t make you fear for your life when you enter it .

I highly recommend this hostel, having given it a well-deserved 5-star rating. It offers excellent value for money, with affordable rates for dormitory accommodation, and the option to pay extra for a private room if desired. Its location in Hoi An is perfect, right on the tip of Old town away from the noise, and the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere is felt by all guests. The garden and pool area provide a natural, peaceful setting which is secluded well. The ambiance is perfect for unwinding, with soft lighting in the evening creating a tranquil environment. There's a strong sense of respect among guests – while the vibe is fun, quiet hours around 10-11 PM are not a rule but an observed culture, that jus exists to ensure everyone gets a restful night's sleep. The staff are exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist guests and showing a genuine passion for their work. This hostel is a great place to meet new people and make lasting memories. I would definitely recommend it for ages 18-55 (Haha Dean) visiting Hoi An.

I had an amazing stay at Heliport Hostel! The reception staff went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. Their kindness and willingness to help with anything I needed truly made a difference. The hostel itself was spotless, with clean and well-maintained facilities. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere was so nice, and I always felt comfortable. Really close to the old town of Hoi An, so you can go walking or if you prefer they can provide a motorbike for rent. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great balance of comfort and hospitality! I will be back for sure as soon as I can 🥰

We stayed here for three night in a private room. The room was clean and very comfortable and equipped with a fridge and some other useful utilities. The staff is extremely hospitable and nice and they offer lots of trips and things to see in the area. The lounge, pool area and bar are very cozy and a good place to meet other travelers. You can rent scooters and bikes here aswell. The hostel is super close to the old town (4 min by foot). We had a great time here and can definitely recommend staying there!

I had the most wonderful stay at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest hosts, Thao and Moon. They were always available to help with anything I needed, whether it was recommendations, directions, or just a friendly chat. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the hostel itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It’s just a few minutes away from the city center, which made it super convenient for exploring. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more pleasant place to stay. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly, and clean place with amazing people, this is the spot! Highly recommend!
