Gold Hotel Da Nang

The room and the bed smelled moldy. It was so noisy outside that I couldn’t sleep, and in the morning I woke up before my alarm and ended up sleep-deprived. The staff even posted a review on my Agoda app without my permission. I was shocked. and realized this is a dishonest hotel.

I was in the upper bunk of the dormitory. It would be easier to climb if the stairs are flat instead of round. Aside from that, all the receptionist were nice. I especially loved the guard at the basement. I think his name is Dai Tho. He helped me settle into the electric bike. Wil definitely recommend

Staff were very accommodating and polite. However, the room was not good enough. Upon arrival we noticed some ants in the room it was late so we sprayed them and thought nothing of it. Two days later there were ants everywhere in the room and in our bed. The hotel were accommodating as we requested a refund for our last night. Overall the staff were excellent but the rooms are dated and quite disgusting.

The hotel is in dire need of repair and renovation. Rooms and amenities are run down and suffered extensive wear and tear. First of all, the staff were very accommodating and tried their best to fix the issues, however the hotel rooms suffer from mustiness and dampness. Water damage and mold can be found everywhere, and the air conditioning inmy first room didn't work. second room was alright but my third room had a half collapsing main desk, and a cockroach hiding between the gaps.

Booked this hotel for 3 nights. dropped bags off at reception at 10am and waited for check In at (2pm) there was no early check in available (totally understandable) but when when 2pm came around our room was still not cleaned from the last guest also totally understandable, these things happen. The front desk lady’s were very accommodating and friendly we received a key to a second room and it was the same thing, un cleaned from the last guest. We used Expedia so we got a full refund and booked a different hotel but the rooms being un ready for us is one thing but overall the hotel is very un cleaned. We have stayed in lots of cheap hotels traveling through Vietnam and you get what you pay for this is not one of those times it was beyond filthy. I hope this helps a fellow traveler exploring this amazing country.

The hotel is located near the city center, so it's convenient to go anywhere and easy to find a place for food/drink. The room is a bit small but clean enough. The facilities in the room is fine. The most lovely thing here is that it's quite, they have small note in front of every door reminding you to close your door gently so that it won't affect the people in other rooms. The price is comparative.

I warn against staying here. Despite previous guest reviews, very poor sanitary conditions still persist. There is mold harmful to health everywhere. I spent two nights here and now have serious breathing problems. This place is not suitable for rent. The matter should be addressed by health authorities. If you value your health, I strongly advise checking the room beforehand. Not recommended ❌❌❌

The price is pretty good for a two-day visit to Da Nang city. The location is pretty close to Dragon Bridge and not too far from both the Han River and Da Nang Beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the rooms and furniture are much older than the photos shown on Agoda. Personally, I always feel like the bed, the floor, the couch, and everything else in my room aren't clean enough. The air conditioner is sometimes loud and then returns to normal. I know we can't expect too much for such an affordable price, but at least show the real photos and condition on the booking app.

Service and staff were lovely, very attentive and helpful. Sam, Nhi were lovely. There was also a water filter for fresh water which was useful. Beds were very comfortable but the room was damp and smelled damp when we walked in each time. There were also some ants in the room which was a bit off putting. Overall a decent stay for the price.

We booked this hotel for three nights. Despite the language barrier, the check-in was fine and the staff was nice. However, when we went upstairs, we noticed stains on the hallway carpet, and when we got into the room, 303, the walls showed …

I stayed here for 8 nights during TET and had a great experience. The room was cleaned daily with complimentary bottled water, and there were plenty of in-room service items. The hot water and AC worked well, and everything was very comfortable. The WiFi could have been a bit faster for me personally, but it got the job done. They also gave me a free TET gift box at checkout, which was a really thoughtful touch. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
