Amazing resort when travelling with family. Kids can enjoy water play while adults can relax with onsen and other activities such as yoga class, golf, tea ceremony etc. I’ve had a wonderful yoga session with Nha Phuong. She is very kind and caring. I particularly love the water park because it’s in door with heated pool. No need to worry about my kids getting cold or sick especially when travelling in December.
Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa

Very disappointing experience at Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa. I made the reservation and paid in full. When we arrived to check in, the hotel refused to allow us to check in, claiming the booking was not in their system and that the lead guest name did not match. I booked the room under my name, but my mother was the one staying. My mother is elderly and not familiar with technology, which is why I always make bookings on her behalf. This has never been an issue at other 5-star hotels — they simply verify the information and support the guest accordingly. However, the staff here were extremely rigid and offered no reasonable solution, even after I provided full payment proof. The result: we lost money and were left without a place to rest. For a 5-star resort, this level of inflexibility and poor customer support is unacceptable. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled.
This was my first time visiting Mikazuki Da Nang, and I was very impressed. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the buffet food was delicious. It’s a wonderful place for families, especially with the water park for kids. The infinity pool view is also amazing and definitely one of the highlights. Highly recommend!
It was a very nice and fun stay but there were a few little issues. No access to the indoor water park before they check you in to your room. No milk or crema in the room to have with a black tea and when we called reception they wanted to charge for the milk for the tea. Made it difficult getting another blanket. Staff don't really speak English or Japanese. Positives - the top story pool is amazing and really warm, food was very nice and reasonably priced, great buffet breakfast, coy fish were huge, japanese toilet in the room was excellent, and kids really enjoyed the waterpark. One night is enough there.
Perfect family getaway — relaxing, fun, and full of heart Our family absolutely loved our stay at Da Nang Mikazuki. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — they were warm, patient, and always ready to help, especially with the kids. You can really feel the Japanese care and attention to detail everywhere in the resort. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with beautiful ocean views and little touches that made our stay extra comfortable. The water park was a huge hit with my little one — clean, safe, and full of fun slides and pools. For the adults, the onsen was pure bliss — quiet, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind while the kids were happily entertained. Breakfast was incredible every morning, with so many choices that everyone found something they loved — from fresh pastries and fruit to sushi and pho. What we appreciated most was how calm and peaceful the whole resort felt, even when it was busy. It never felt crowded, and the staff always went out of their way to make our family feel at home. If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort that combines Japanese hospitality with the beauty of Da Nang, this is the place. We left completely relaxed and already planning our next visit! Special mention to Yen (Guest Reservation Supervisor), Thao, Uyen and Vy for looking after our room, meals and logistics for local tours. Also, a very special thank you to Sia and Team for the best Spa treatment and our friend, Duy, for the road trips 😊 and being an excellent tour guide.
It was the perfect holiday at Mikazuki Resort. The room was in excellent condition, and I was even more satisfied with the free upgrade. The view of Ocean was so relaxing during my stay. The terrace was separate from the indoor area, making it a great place to put the kids to bed and spend some quiet time with my wife. Nami Beach, in front of the resort, is well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The infinity pool on the 22nd floor offers a particularly stunning view at sunset, so I highly recommend it. While it's a bit far from downtown Da Nang, the hotel has all the amenities you need, and Grab is available, so it wasn't too inconvenient. At last I'd also like to express my gratitude to operator, Ms. Phuong, who made my trip end on a high note.
Let's start with the rooms. We stayed during a slightly quiet period (second week of Jan during the weekday) so got upgraded to a slightly larger room. It was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. There was an outdoor bath tub facing the view of the ocean and water park. Couldn't fault the rooms, only minor irritation was the king bed that has been put together with two twins and they use that padding to hold it together, so there's this feeling of a split in the middle. The food at breakfast was huge. The variety was good and there was an egg station and hot noodle station. The service was good as well and everyone there was very polite and accommodating. Now the water parks. We got access to both the indoor and outdoor water parks during our stay. The indoor water park was a bit unique in that it had a sort of roller coaster water ride. That was probably the highlight of the indoor one. The outdoor one ... Looked like it was definitely just for kids ? We didn't end up using it. No biggie. It was an add on perk we got. The hotel had 3 restaurants. We went to the Blue for the seafood bbq buffet on Friday and the Japanese sushi one for Thursday. Both are fairly decent restaurants. Only downside to this resort is that it is outside of Da Nang, and it'll take you a good 20 mins and 200k vn to get to the city. But it's near the airport though! Not sure if I would recommend staying here more than 2 days. Definitely a short stay (1-2 days) stint kinda thing. I forgot to take pics of the room, but I got the light show and some pics of the food from the sushi restaurant!
Beach side resort. We stayed here for about 3 nights during our trip. One of the best hotels (kid friendly) we have stayed in. It has an amazing rooftop warm water pool and jacuzzi with great view. Whole family had a great and memorable time. Although it rained during our trip to Bana Hills but hotel stay made it up for us. Food was great, room was great. People are very courteous and friendly. Hotel amenities are top class including the bathroom.
My family had an amazing stay at the Mikazuki Hotel. The room and facilities were excellent, and the staff were attentive and kind. We really enjoyed our time there. My only complaints are that outside food isn't allowed in the hotel, and there aren't many food options nearby for eating out.
This is the best family resort we’ve ever been. From the facilities, foods, services and staff, everything was nearly perfect. I like the bracelet key card the best, with it, we never lost it and it works everywhere in the resort. For example, paying at the cafe downstairs. It was very convenient. The indoor park was amazing, while the outdoor was super cool and relaxing. The rooftop bar and pool was one of the bests, too. Most importantly, the restaurants in the resort serve all nice Japanese foods at a very good price. We nearly didn’t go out for dinner because of that! And yes, I love the Japanese pharmacy where they sell quality Japanese beauty products. Would highly recommend this resort and would definitely love to go back again next time!
2 star review to get the attention of the hotel management regarding some unsatisfactory policies. 1. We arrived at 12pm hoping to use the waterpark while waiting for the room to be ready. Be aware that this is not allowed, which is disappointing because check in time is so late. 2. Reception told us the room will be ready in 1 hour, instead was made to wait 2.5 hours. I wouldn’t have minded if they told us the correct time initially as we would have then made other plans instead of waiting around the lobby while kids were hungry. 3. Grabfood is not allowed to come into the hotel gate, have to walk out to the gate, which is not convenient when raining. The driver is also not allowed to leave food at the guardhouse. The hotel room itself is 5 stars, spacious and beautiful. The rooftop infinity pool is warm. Only tried the food at the pool bar, overpriced. There is a small supervised kids playroom in the hotel which our kids enjoyed. The indoor waterpark is small, we spent about 2 hours in the pools. 8yo can do 1 of 2 slides while 6yo couldn’t do any due to weight restrictions (min 30 kg for 1 slide and 40 kg for the other). Onsen is 5 stars, felt like we were in Japan. Sadly the onsen closes with the waterpark at 7pm. The kids enjoyed the “ninja park”. Excellent resort for a cold rainy day in January.
I stayed at the Mikazuki Da Nang hotel, and it completely exceeded expectations. The rooms are incredibly spacious and spotless, with modern appliances and thoughtful touches. Having a bathtub right on the balcony was such a unique …
