Excellent location and the new building is fantastic. Very great layout throughout the hotel and love the simple yet functional layout of the one bedroom suite. My children really enjoy the clean and well equipped kids room on the 29th floor. However, the staff is young and needs to mature in their level of service. Simple drops from housekeeping staff like forgetting to restock towels and actually sweeping the floors (children ate cookies and the crumbs were still on the floor after daily housekeeping visit) to more critical items such as trash talking in Vietnamese and assuming the Vietnamese American doesn’t understand. This instance occurred with a young man at the front desk going by Jason working the night shift. Other staff are wonderful though from support Chloe at the front desk, the front desk manager Ha and a few others like the luggage team member Loc. Chloe and the manager Ha helped my family quickly moved rooms due to construction noise while the MEA upper floors are being built. If you are looking for top notch service in the short term as this team matures, look at the nearby Hilton or Four Points closer to the beach. Otherwise, this a hotel with great potential to be one of the best hotels in Da Nang

Had a really great stay at Courtyard by Marriott Da Nang. The hotel is modern and comfortable. Everything felt well taken care of from check-in to check-out. Special thanks to Mr. Thoi at the restaurant for his service. He was friendly and his positive attitude really made our dining experience better. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.
The hotel itself is a good, clean five-star hotel. First of all, I would like to highlight the extremely friendly staff – all employees were very attentive, especially the concierge team and the parking attendants, who were always very kind and welcoming. However, during our 18-day stay we experienced a few issues. The first problem was a broken toilet in our initial room. The second issue was a construction site located just a few rooms away, which woke us up in the mornings for several days. In our third room, everything was finally fine. On both occasions, after reporting the issues, we were relocated to another room. The room service is a disaster for a five-star hotel. Apart from breakfast, there is hardly any selection and very limited options to order food, so we regularly had to order via Grab. Another point of criticism: unfortunately, the hotel does not have a spa. However, the gym is modern and sufficient for smaller workouts.
We stayed at the Courtyard from 2026/01/04 to 2026/01/08. The hotel’s location is great. It is a short walk to the Han Market. Each night we walked and crossed the Dragon Bridge to reach the night market, took the other bridge back to the hotel. The staff was helpful from day one. Each night, the pastry chef stopped by and visited with us. Each time he made a special dish for me, personal service 👍. Food was quite tasty. We would definitely there going forward. We stayed at the Melia prior.
Our experience was great! The staff was attentive, helpful, and professional. The room was larger than expected, clean modern, and fucntional. Cleaning was done daily and thoroughly. New place so shouldn't have many issues. Location is great to walk out and get to nearby eateries and the riverwalk, but corner lot next to hotel is empty slab and abandoned building with graffiti which takes away from the new hotel look.
Our family had a wonderful stay back in January. All the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful, assisting us with every request from front to back of house — everyone truly did a great job. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the location is superb, close to all the popular and famous spots. Upon checkout, we were assisted by David, who was also fantastic. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to this amazing crew for making our stay so memorable!
Wow, where don I start. From the hotels amazing location by the river, to the building itself, the modern and elegant rooms, to the unbelievable choices for breakfast and the quality throughout the place. The caring and friendly staff ensure you'll have a wonderful stay. To summon it all up - a great place. What did I dislike: leaving the hotel and carrying on to my next travel destination.
It’s honestly incredible that in three months of traveling around Asia, between Thailand and Vietnam, I never got food poisoning. Then I come to eat tapas in the afternoon, during the buffet that runs from 6 to 9 pm, and the very same night when I got back home, around midnight, I threw everything up. And now, two days later, I still feel dizzy and strange. The Marriott is beautiful, the rooftop is beautiful, but honestly guys, how is it possible that you have this kind of problem with food management, especially with fish, in the tapas you serve on the ground floor in the lobby? It’s ridiculous. I would never have expected something like this, especially from such a good and well-known brand like Marriott. Anyway, around 9 pm, when they were finishing and clearing the tables with the remaining tapas, I noticed a cart with all the food items on it — including salmon and other types of fish, as well as shrimp — basically the cart they had used to prepare the tapas. I don’t know whether those foods were leftovers or if they were going to be used again the next day. The cart looked very organized, almost as if it was prepared to be reused the following day. But there was no refrigeration at all — no ice, no cold storage. And especially with fish, you simply cannot do that, because people will get sick immediately. Honestly, it’s embarrassing.
New hotel and central located. Walk few minutes to Han Market. And many famous restaurants nearby. Lots of spas as well. Hotel staff are friendly with smile but not enough staffs to do serving. Swimming pool on 45 th floor which has a good view of the river. Buffet breakfast is good enough . Will come back again!
Perfect Location and Superior Service! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Here is why: Unbeatable Location The location is simply perfect. Everything you could possibly need is within easy reach—from excellent restaurants and shopping to massage parlors and convenience stores. It’s the ideal base for exploring without having to travel far for the essentials. Superior Service What really sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. They create such a kind and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The service is truly courteous and professional, making you feel valued as a guest throughout your entire stay. Spacious Rooms & Views The room was much larger and more spacious than expected. A major highlight was the stunning view facing the river, which made waking up each morning a treat. Summary: Between the spacious river-view rooms and the top-tier hospitality, this is a fantastic choice. I will definitely be back!
Check in experience was good. Was helped by Newt who was very thorough and went through everything very patiently… Booked a corner room and was every bit worth it… absolutely spectacular views of the Han River and the dragon bridge.. The highlight was the infinity pool area on the 45th floor which is where all the photos attached are from. Unparalleled feeling of being able to see pretty much all of Da Nang. There’s a bar and restaurant as well where you can dine and enjoy the view with indoor and outdoor seating.. The room was modern and had all the amenities.. bed was very comfortable and the restroom was absolutely fantastic… The lobby downstairs is massive, open with such a lovely ambience. Also has a coffee shop and plenty of seating to sit and chill… really cool vibe overall… Service was very good especially the people at the reception. Had issues with the room key and Chloe was so patient and helped me out multiple times… also asked her for a late checkout and was allowed that without any hesitation whatsoever… Additionally, there’s a small Q-Mart convenience store right next door if you need to grab snacks, drinks or other items… There are hotels on the beach front, a few miles from this location but for the price, this place really does do justice… Mos def recommend this place, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience…
I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Da Nang Han River, and it’s probably the best Courtyard I’ve ever experienced. The entire staff was exceptionally hospitable; from the bellman to the front desk team to housekeeping. I was especially touched to receive an unexpected personal note and amenity from the front desk manager. My Deluxe King room was modern, beautifully designed, and well equipped with thoughtful amenities that made the stay both comfortable and convenient. The hotel itself is lovely and located in a great, central area that’s very walkable, with coffee shops, restaurants, and museums nearby. The rooftop bar offers fantastic cocktails and beautiful views. Overall, a top-tier stay. I would absolutely return.
