I stayed in their 10 bed hostel for 3 nights. The room was clean and peaceful. The ladies we are professional and helpful. Everything from towel to shower gels and breakfast was provided for an affordable picture. They also helped you organise tours, pickup vehicles, train/bus tickets. Be careful when you rent their bicycles 🚲. The lock got jammed and I couldn't open it and they made me physically carry it 3 kms to the hostel while sitting in the back of a bike which was really risky.

Great hostel, very nice staff who help with everything. Good location. I recommend.👍 …
I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and there are indoor and outdoor common spaces for guests to enjoy while getting to know each other better. The beds are comfortable and curtains ensure privacy in shared dorm rooms. The linens and bathrooms are clean and guest services are available, such as laundry, free breakfast, and motorbike rental. There is a small kitchen area available for guest use, and drinks and snacks for sale at the front desk. The hostel is located in a central area, very safe and close to bars, shops, restaurants; it’s just a short walk to the riverside and Dragon Bridge. Kelly and Sarah were welcoming and kind, always available to assist with whatever we need. They brighten up the whole hostel and make visitors feel at home. I would definitely recommend City Hostel to other travelers to Da Nang.
I stayed here for 2 nights, and it’s a good and tidy hostel. Upon arrival, you’re warmly welcomed by Elizabeth, who immediately tells you where everything is and gives you various tips on where to eat or fun outings you can do. The location is excellent you’re close to everything and can easily walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and well-kept. If you’re looking for a hostel Da Nang
It was the nice stay in this hostel .near Han market and dragon bridge . Walking around you will see so many shops if you are not stay too late at night .Reception so friendly.
Title: 🚫 The worst hostel in Vietnam. Review: I’ve traveled a lot, but this place is absolute bottom. The staff shows zero understanding or humanity. I had an injury, my leg hurt, and I asked to stay for one night without a deposit. They refused. The hostel was empty, but they were cold and heartless. This is not service, not hospitality. Just a money grab. No respect, no kindness. If you want to ruin your mood and feel treated like nothing — this is the place. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. Conclusion: ❌ The worst hostel I’ve ever seen in Asia. Do NOT recommend.
Dirty and pathetic place. Toilets r worse than a public toilet in a developing country. Spoiled my 2 nights. Dont book it.
Good location in the city centre side of Da Nang. The check in was smooth. The form room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was basic. overall, it is a decent hostel.
The breakfast here is just instant noodles. If you check out and the key is on the bed, and you inform the proprietress, but the front desk claims you didn't return the key, they will charge you 60,000 (currency unit). The proprietress only accepts cash and will order you to cancel the reservation; otherwise, you won't be able to check in.The proprietress has a stern expression, as if everyone owes her money. your undetwear can be missing from the balcony. The hotel's profile picture is her personal photo, and she is extremely narcissistic and treats others poorly.her photo looks not like her at all, maybe she lives in her dream.
The hostel is mostly rather run down and has mold in many places. The staff was nice though and for a couple of nights it’s certainly ok if you’re not picky. Breakfast was instant noddles, egg sunny side up and instant coffee.
Everything was exceptional. Ms. Ying, the proprietor, was superlatively friendly, helpful and curious of foreigners’ experiences. They can help you with train or bus reservations, scooter rental, luggage, etc. The common room was nice to work in.
The service here is top notch. As a Westerner, I’m always surprised how warm Vietnamese people are to strangers. Ms. Ying in particular was super friendly and helped me with many things. I appreciated her cosmopolitanism and curiosity for my Canadian-Chinese heritage. Compared to other hostels, common room and dorms are good, bathrooms are okay. Feedback: You could add some hooks inside of to the bathroom doors.
